Just made this as a pre trial meal as I do with all new backpacking recipes i find. This smells amazing and hopefully will taste just as good.
The only thing I noticed that is I had way more rice and not even close enough veggies when dehydrated to come out to two 2/3 cups. Maybe need to cut up more veggies before hand.
Also when packaging them it feels like way more than 2 servings..... I feel like this would feed 4 people all together.
Now I just need to find a way to take sour cream on the trail with me for these 😆
Uh oh! Did you package up everything you dehydrated? The full list of ingredients does make more than 2 servings and the ratios would be off. Lower in the instructions we give the amounts of dehydrated ingredients to package for two servings.
Have you tried this as a freeze dried meal instead? If so, how do they compare?

I measured everythung dehydrated. Its all good im just going to dehydrate some more veggies 🙂
